The Imitation GameThe Imitation Game – Movie Review

Hi Movie Goers,

Following the mighty Mr. Turner we have the almighty Turin. Alan of course – the Enigma code-breaking team leader. Another quality film based on fact.

Yes, The Imitation Game was viewed in a nicely filled and comfortable auditorium with respectable audio volume. Benedict Cumberbatch (Alan Turin) gets us all on board eventually, and what a masterful performance he delivers. Some superb stunt bicycle riding too – was that really him?! (Just pulling your leg!)

While the cast were busy pulling teeth most of the way through we were also given glimpses of some actual WWII footage which was great, and some dodgy C.G.I. cut scenes which weren’t. Keira Knightley was faultless – the eyes tell it all – Charles Dance impeccable (as always) and MI6 top gun Mark Strong brill. Must not forget Rory Kinnear as DI Nock.

Nice heartfelt quality film. Bit emotional at times. Check out the trailer below.
