The KT Bush Band Launches!

with No Comments

Hi Folks,

I’m quite sure you are all warming up to some of this fine spring weather that will hopefully continue for many a day! A season of new beginnings, Spring’s also the perfect time to announce the launch and revisit of our new band from way back when – The KT Bush Band!

Now I bet you’re wondering who is involved from the original lineup? Well, to be honest Kate and Del are not on board this time around, but we have retained the services of two of the original members – yours truly, along with the brains behind this venture, Vic King! We’re getting back into the wonderful music and excitement of those glorious days that kind of fired to life the phenomena and backlit the early genius of Kate Bush!

We’re excited to announce that we are playing our first official gig as The KT Bush Band on Thursday 5th May at the Half Moon and Putney! You can get tickets here.

Amazingly it has been 39 years to the month since we played at The Half Moon in Putney to a pub full mainly of crazed football fans, and of course we grabbed that moment and just kicked our music into every conceivable cup!  Along with a grande selection of Kate Bush material, we want you to taste the flavour of early renditions, a few covers and some of my own original songs from this period.

We have new people on stage with us; the exceptionally talented Jodie May on vocal duty and the amazing Steve Bevan on Bass.

Well, it’s all about the music and putting on a great show, these unique songs – album tracks and hit singles – are all in the mix, plus a few stories here and there to bring you closer to the maestro. Come along and grow with us, we need your magical presence to ensure this is the memorable and moving experience you can imagine.

Please check out the ticket details below and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and our website for updates.

See you there!

– Brian
