Mr Turner – Mike Leigh Biopic – Movie Review
Hi Movie Goers,
Went virtual painting with Mr Turner this week at the cinema. A most enlightening experience.
Timothy Spall grunted and groaned – to great effect – all the way through it to my amusement, rendering a very intelligent and nuanced portrayal of the groundbreaking artist.
Some of the coastal scenes were particularly inspiring. Although slow and at times laborious, I had very little problem with this pacing.
All in all, superb characterization and all the supporting performances were excellent – especially the maid.
